Unitronic JDC-Miller MotorSports head to Lexington, Ohio for the fourth round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Championship with a familiar partner onboard in ECS Tuning, a Unitronic Authorized Dealer based in Wadsworth, OH less than an hour away from the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

A quick turnaround from the previous event at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca, the #17 TCR team will look to rebound after a disappointing end to the race with a sequential transmission issue taking the team out of contention while fighting for the win. The setback drops the team down the order in the tightly contested IMSA TCR championship. Being back at Mid-Ohio will bring back fond memories for drivers Chris Miller and Mikey Taylor, after the duo started from pole position in the 2021 edition of the Mid-Ohio 120. The pair will need to do all they can to maximize the performance out of the RS3 LMS TCR against a packed TCR class of 15 cars especially with the return of multiple entries that haven’t been present since the opening round at Daytona.

As part of Unitronic’s full season IMSA program the team is working with select authorized dealers in each market near the ten events across the US and Canada. Having launched their offering of Unitronic Software and Hardware products in 2021, ECS Tuning will be part of the Mid-Ohio event for a second year running with the Unitronic JDC-Miller MotorSports team.
